Hello, Babes. It’s been... a while. I really have no excuse other than letting sadness get in the way of doing something I love and find relief in.
And I don’t really know what I’ve been sad about, which I feel as though I don’t need to explain this sensation; I think everyone gets a case of the “winter blues,” -- some cases more serious than others.
So it’s been two months since I’ve blogged. I know you guys weren’t holding your breath like when Kylie Jenner didn’t post for 9 months, but on this end, those 2 months felt like Kylie’s 9.
You missed...well, nothing groundbreaking, actually.
“Get Chic” turned 1 (Happy Bday my Blog Baby!)
I turned 23.
and the world turned 2019.
With this new year, I decided I’m going to only make realistic resolutions and goals.
-I’m not going to go to the gym everyday, but I’m going to praise myself when I do.
-I’m going to be more kind to myself. -I am going to remind myself I need to be more organized everyday, and if (more like, when I slip up) I promise myself to take the time to straighten everything out.
-I am going to do something beneficial to my mental health everyday. Whether it be yoga for 5 minutes, putting my phone in the other room while I just gather my thoughts--whatever it is, make time for “me-time” doing something that isn’t sleeping.
There’s more, but I won’t bore you. This is just me announcing my return to my blog scene. <3
I’m gathering so many ideas to keep a constant flow of blog posts out and I’m excited about it. I can’t wait and I love you all.
